Chris Funk is a sales advisor at Metro 1. Chris is a seasoned sales and business consultancy professional. His concentration is in the urban core, focusing on the acquisition and disposition of multi-family residential, land development, industrial properties, urban retail and promotion of hospitality concepts. 

Chris began his career working on transportation consultancy projects funded through the World Bank; coordinating teams to provide advisory services related to privatization, Public Private Partnerships, restructuring, liberalization, and modernization of regulatory regimes for civil transportation authorities. 

Prior to working at Metro 1, Chris managed the sales portfolio for a French Caribbean spirits company across several sales channels including: retail, on-trade, as well as export trade across Latin America. Chris' varied background provides a dynamic approach that seeks creative routes for achieving a clients goals, in the face of business and regulatory conditions that are in constant change.

Chris was raised in Panama, studied in Germany and the United States, and holds a Master's in Political Science. Chris is an avid surfer, making the best of the small surf in South Florida. He is also an occasional contributor to The Surfer's Journal, and has published essays and poetry in local literary journals, including Jai-Alai, and Hinchas de Poesía.
