After years of being vacant following Radio Shack’s closing, Metro 1 was the broker to take down the vacancy at the iconic corner of 101 E Flagler Street, representing the Landlord in the transaction.

With the utmost persistence and professionalism, Metro 1 advisor Bernardita Banfi facilitated the transaction on behalf of the Landlord.

Bernardita said this lease cements the commitment Wells Fargo has to the business community in Downtown Miami for decades to come.

“History is repeating itself” Banfi said, “Downtown Miami experienced massive growth in the 1920s due to population growth, a century later, the area is experiencing a renewed influx of individuals from all over the US, and they’re bringing their businesses with them”

Even though the 2020 year has been a very difficult year for so many tenants in the area, the pandemic has been the catalyst that accelerated change in the Downtown Miami landscape.

Metro 1 is currently handling multiple lease negotiations in the area, betting in its quick recovery and bright future.
