Tony Cho is founder and CEO of Metro 1, a forward-thinking real estate brokerage, management and development firm focused on shaping neighborhoods and developing sustainable cities in South Florida and beyond. The company has completed over $2.5 billion in real estate transactions since 2005 and has been recognized every year since 2011 as one of the top 25 commercial real estate firms by the South Florida Business Journal.

An entrepreneur and neighborhood pioneer, Mr. Cho served as a founding member of the Wynwood Business Improvement District (BID) and championed the progressive rezoning of the area, which transformed blighted streets into a diverse, 24-hour, mixed-use arts and innovation district.

Under his leadership, Metro 1 brought favorite local businesses— including Zak the Baker and Junior & Hatter— into the neighborhood, and in 2012, developed the Wynwood Gateway Complex, one of the area’s most visible commercial developments.

In 2011, Tony was awarded the prestigious young leader of the year by the Urban Land Institute and holds a CCIM designation.

A Floridian Native originally from Vero Beach, Tony attended Northwestern University in Chicago. Tony and his wife reside in Miami.

Nava joined Metro 1 in 2013 and since then, has aided in the completion of more than 100 transactions, totaling 200,000 square feet and more than $100 million in volume.

He was principally responsible for procuring the Instituto Maragoni lease, which at $60 PSF is one of the most expensive office leases in the country and was also instrumental in procuring marquee tenants such as The Salty Donut, Ghee Indian Kitchen, Three by Norman Van Aken, Bousa Brewing, and the recently opened 1-800-Lucky. Additionally, Nava played a key role in securing Metro 1’s recognition as a Top Leasing Firm, Top Sales Firm, Top Retail Leasing Broker, and Top Sales Broker by Costar in 2016 and 2017

Before joining Metro 1, Andres Nava worked extensively in the retail sector (ZARA, Louis Vuitton) as well as community focused organizations such as WADA, the Wynwood Arts District Association, which later was incorporated into the BID.

Peter Andolina is Executive Director of M1 Land—a specialty division within Metro 1 Commercial. The seasoned commercial real estate professional has more than two decades of experience specifically in land and development site sales. Over the years, he has brokered nearly 5 million square feet of land and development site transactions for properties located within South Florida’s urban neighborhoods.

Mr. Andolina has completed more than $400 million in transactions, brokering commercial and mixed-use properties along the Biscayne Corridor and land for the development of several completed condominium projects including Quantum, Paramount Bay, New Wave, Baylofts, Brickell on the River, Plaza 22, and Yorker. Among Mr. Andolina’s noteworthy transactions was the 2004 sale of the 54-acre Florida East Coast Railway’s rail yards to the developers of what is now Midtown Miami.

Counted among the $100-million-plus worth of office buildings Mr. Andolina has sold are the Region’s Bank Building, 1550 Biscayne, 2200 Biscayne, 3050 Biscayne, 4700 Biscayne, and 3415 NE 2nd Avenue. He has also sold properties in Little Havana, Overtown, and Little River neighborhoods to developers of affordable housing.

Prior to joining Metro 1 Properties, Mr. Andolina operated his own real estate company, Andolina Real Estate, where he concentrated on properties located within the Biscayne Corridor, north of Downtown Miami. He previously partnered with commercial real estate specialist Edie Laquer, and together they brokered significant land sales in the Coconut Grove, Brickell, and Downtown Miami areas.

Before embarking on a career in commercial real estate brokerage, Mr. Andolina was an attorney and served as Deputy Director for the Miami Downtown Development Authority for nearly 15 years. Originally from Buffalo, New York, Mr. Andolina earned a law degree from the University of Buffalo School of Law.

Silver is Executive Director of M1 Advisory and Development Services, a division of Metro 1 Commercial Real Estate, Inc. Silver provides expert consulting to clients on property acquisitions, planning, commercial loan workouts, property repositioning, and general strategy for real estate developers, brokers, and investors doing business in South Florida. Silver has more than 30 years of experience serving as a principal in various real estate ventures, as well as a representative and consultant for major developers throughout South Florida. Over the past three decades, Silver has been involved in some of the region’s most notable projects and transactions including the repositioning and entitlement of the Palmetto Bay Village Center.

Other representative projects which Silver has worked on with various partners include the development and construction of 9350 Financial Ctr. (115,000 SF office and retail building next to Shorty’s on US 1); 1110 Brickell (100,000 SF office and retail building, renovation and substantial lease up); Shops at Killian and Killian Office Park (60,000 SF office and retail developments); NMA 36 (retail redevelopment on N. Miami Ave. and 36 Street); South Park Center (80,000 SF office and flex warehouse development in South Dade); land assemblages for the Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove and Mayfair Lofts, as well as many other office and retail projects over 25 years.

Additionally, he acted as a consultant at the inception on development issues and on brokerage for Midtown Miami, One Miami, Met 1, 2 and 3, Blue, Marina Blue and others. Mr. Silver is also a senior partner in the law firm of Silver & Garvett, P.A., and has been an attorney handling real estate related matters since 1982.

Director of Metro 1 Hospitality Fabian Graff is a seasoned investment sales broker who has developed extensive experience in serving the Greater Miami Region. Mr. Graff, who has close to a decade of industry experience, specializes in the investment sales of hotels and multifamily properties.

Mr. Graff’s clients benefit from his years of experience in the finance and hospitality industries and prior to joining Metro 1 Commercial, Mr. Graff spent many years in the lending industry working with Argent Mortgage and Citi Group.

Ximena Cho has a long standing history of community service and client relations. Having volunteered significant amounts of time and effort to charitable causes for most of her life, she is in tune with the needs of the community and possesses the dedication and passion to coordinate large scale initiatives. Ximena’s passion for community service began as a child in her native country of Colombia, where together with her family, she spent countless hours working with the needy and homeless of her community. At the age of 11, Ximena came to live in Miami with her family and attended the University School, where she graduated with honors and over 1,000 hours of community service in local hospital cancer and neonatal units, the Baudhuin Preschool for children with autism and Best Buddies among others. At that point, Ximena decided to channel her love of working with people into a career in fashion and received a degree in Fashion Merchandising from the Miami International University of Art & Design, formerly International Fine Arts College. Her career remained geared towards the public and client relations as she progressed from Latin American sales at Hugo Boss to real estate and eventually entering the health and beauty field in the spa and skin care industry.

Throughout her career, Ximena has remained dedicated to various charitable causes such as Lotus House Women’s Shelter, Yoga Gangsters for at risk youth, The River Fund homeless assistance, Style Saves and the Miami Rescue Mission as well as being an avid supporter of the New World Symphony. At the heart of all her initiatives, she has always had a fervor for helping people and has now found the perfect niche wherein to do what she loves – community service.

As the Director for Metro 1 Community, Ximena hopes to significantly impact the neighborhoods which the organization serves and to take the initiatives of community education and outreach to new levels. As Director, she will be in charge of conceptualizing, developing and facilitating the implementation of projects associated with community relations as well as coordination of existing directives and ventures. Ximena strives to achieve fulfillment of Metro 1 Community’s vision and mission to its greatest extent.
