The SLS Brickell is perhaps the most anticipated condominium coming to Miami. Its planned location on 1300 South Miami Ave, in the heart of the city’s vibrant commercial center, means it will have to meet some pretty high standards. But if the recent renderings are anything to go by, the SLS Brickell is sure not to disappoint. Curbed Miami has more:
Not yet released to the public, the SLS Brickell sales brochure has found its way over to exMiami.org, with as-yet-unreleased renderings of the Arquitectonica-designed tower and other details. It looks the majority of the building will be residential, with only 132 hotel rooms but 450 apartments, the whole thing will be topped by a pool for residents, as well as a large pool situation (a row of pools really) down on the amenity deck. The base is painted in fruity-tuty colors, with lots of art, and the retail and restaurants will line the street facade. We hear that, even though realtors (and we assume their clients) are the only ones to have seen many details about the building so far, 400 of the 450 units are already under reservation.
Indeed, this ambitious project will combine retail, hotel, and residential space all into one luxurious high-rise. It’s encouraging to note that SLS Brickell is being built by The Related Group, one of the leading real estate developers in South Florida. Furthermore, although it is scheduled to be available for occupancy in 2016, reservations for condo units are already available.
In addition to the high-end restaurants at the ground level, the hotel component of the building will begin at the lobby level and go up to the 9th floor, which will feature an elevated 200 foot long pool, spa and spa deck, bar, and lounge. There will be around 130 hotel rooms available.
Residential units will start from the 10th floor and up, totaling 450 units. There will be 11 residences per floor, and you can choose between 1 to 3 bedroom condos or penthouse suites. Units will range in size from 700 square feet to 1,500 square feet, not including penthouses, which will be even larger. Residents will be able to enjoy many of the hotel’s services, in addition to their own amenities, which will include an exclusive rooftop pool, business center, 8,000 square foot ballroom, private spa, and state-of-the-art fitness center.
