Lanvin has opened its first freestanding boutique in the U.S. at Miami’s Design District after leaving Bal Harbour Shops.
The luxury French retailer closed its store at Bal Harbour in mid-September after five years and five months, the Sun Sentinel reports.
At 150 NE 40th St. in the Design District, Lanvin’s boutique is filled with designer Alber Elbaz’s collection of women’s and men’s ready-to-wear fashions and accessories.
With 2,270 square feet, the store is a temporary base while Lanvin awaits the completion of its two-story, 3,365 square-foot, permanent shop in the Design District.
When it is completed in March 2015, the permanent Lanvin store will be at 107 NE 39th St., next to Tom Ford, and across from Tiffany & Co. and Givenchy.
